Sweden will do whatever it takes, including sending in the army, to end a wave of violence that has seen a string of deadly shootings, Prime Minister Stefan Lofven said in Wednesday.
Sweden's murder rate is relatively low in international terms, but gang violence has surged in recent years and Swedes are worried that the police are unable to cope.
In 2016, the latest year for which official statistics are available, 106 people were murdered in Sweden, a country of 10 million.
But Swedish TV reported there were over 300 shootings, mostly in turf battles between gangs over drugs, protection rackets and prostitution.

I gathered as much. It's just that as noted the comic isn't really a depiction of a well functioning society. That said as you have noted I'm almost a bit amazed at people "fleeing" to Europe. Yes they probably think that we are stupid and we have wealth and we are giving it away. They tend to forget that part about how we started two world wars and industrialized genocide. There is quite clearly a limit to how much shit we are willing to take and I wouldn't be all to surprised if that limit is rapidly approaching again, wouldn't want to be non-white and non-christian then -- shit ain't going to be pretty for you if you are not. If we know anything it is that people in general don't really mind a good purge now and then if it's for the right reasons and they have few if any qualms about it. I'm not entirely sure if someone started to shot darkies left and right that a large part of the population would even give two shits, they would probably see it as natural selection or taking out the garbage.
