I most definitely do not like police states. For that reason, I find it hard to recommend any of the surveillance states - UK, OZ, US, France - I don't know just how bad other Euro nations are, but they all suck harder all the time.

I've given some serious thought to where things might be better. Unfortunately, I can't point to any place on this earth where everything is better.

I'm waiting to apply for emigration to Mars, or maybe even further out. The US may or may not be the best thing going on earth, but it still has a lot of suck.

I suppose this is a good place to post some trigger words for the NSA - terrorism bomb nuke lolita white nationalism anarchy human sacrifice treason detonator fuse oath keepers semper fidelis second amendment riot assassination leak Russia sovereign citizen cartel opium cocaine arms dealing

I hear Sweden is pretty nice nowdays -- good education, good welfare, good civilization, tolerant progressive values, and peaceful.

The midnight sun (aka noontime no-sun) countries do seem to have a better handle on the social aspects... my theory is that they have to, otherwise everybody would leave.

You'll see the opposite effect in the tropical islands: immigration policies basically state "bring big piles of cash." Social benefits and structures? Nice idea, but with big piles of cash, it all just sort of works itself out one way or another.

Semper Fi goes right along with Oath Keepers. Once a Marine, always a Marine. And, Marines don't take shit from no one.

Of course, pretty much all veterans are on progressive's shit lists. If references to veterans don't trigger the intel agencies, they will surely trigger some liberals.

US military members and veterans swore an oath to uphold the Constitution and thus frown upon many of the shenanigans our local/state/federal governments are doing. If the government goes complete totalitarian, the veterans are likely to be the group that provides the most resistance as they were combat trained, willing to sacrifice, able to commit to a mission, and follow orders to obtain a common goal yet still largely able think for themselves. Additionally, military members are heavily indoctrinated with US civics classes and blind patriotism. Vets are targeted because they will become dangerous when it is commonly known that the cake is blatantly a lie and voting, petitioning, and the courts are no longer able or willing to do anything about that. They see that they will still have the obligation to uphold the Constitution long after the government has publicly abandoned it.

Vets also tend to operate better under high stress environments. A typically day may include blowing up shit that you've been told to blow up while receiving incoming fire and your friends are getting blown up. That's the whole point of bootcamp--ween out the snowflakes that can't handle stress. There's no safe spaces in bootcamp--except perhaps the air force.

This is a very insightful and wise statement.

Long live the constitution of the united States of America.
