The 2018 data show a definite downward trend.

    01-Jan-2018  Which browser...     228    ***********************
    05-Feb-2018  How Many OS's...     215    **********************

    01-Apr-2018  Toilet Paper...      198    ********************
    26-Apr-2018  Yeah, Nah, Yeah...    59    ******

Although the abysmal Yeah, Nah, Yeah, What Does That Even Mean poll has not concluded and its numbers are theoretically possible to rise, given the meaningless choices, they are unlikely to do so by a substantial amount. Leaving us with the deduction that:

Soylent polls suck more and more over time.

Hint to the cute, clever people having so much fun making these polls: The polls are popular when they are "fun", not when they "completely suck". Please re-evaluate your choices in light of this.

Number of responses is another measure of how popular a poll is. But for this poll a lot of responses were posted just to talk about how bad the poll is. so maybe not.

Have you suggested possible polls? Or are you not cute or clever enough?

Well, having started looking at the data, let's delve a little deeper.

      requerdanos has 11 submissions.

      OrugTor has 0 submissions.

So pretty poor output all around. But still, the data are definitely suggestive.

You posted that just a few days after it went live, and now it's up to 103.

Polls never close, so it's only natural that newer ones would have less votes.

At that time I said "they are unlikely to do so by a substantial amount", and of course only time will tell. The previous poll had about double that at the end of its featured run, which this one won't, by reason of suckage.

Although the "it's only natural" defense has some tendencies towards truth, they're only that.

Once I was in an auto accident in which I was driving and someone backed out of their driveway, into the road, smashing into my driver-side door and pushing my car off the road.

After the "repairs" were complete, the seat belt didn't work properly anymore. Instead of resting while in use, and retracting when the door was opened, it thought the door was always open and always pulled itself trying to retract. This was damage caused by the accident that was not repaired by the body shop.

They refused to repair it, claiming in arbitration that since the driver's door gets more use than other doors, "it's only natural" that it would degrade before the other doors did.

In other words, the body shop used that phrase in order to more fully suck.

      Be careful with it!

[103...] The previous poll had about double that at the end of its featured run, which this one won't

Self-reply to document the datum that it finished off that featured run at around 138 votes. The reader may choose to interpret that as "Almost as much as other polls" or as "hmm, less than other polls finish their featured run with" as he or she chooses.

        One thing's for sure, 103 * 2 != 138.
