    Incrementally as DOCSIS revs, or just as Google pressures the usual suspects to make improvements. For example I'm in a city adjacent to one that got Google Fiber (just a few miles away, /cry) but interestingly AT&T gigabit fiber promptly became available in my area (totally unrelated, i'm sure) and I have that now.
