    At that time I said "they are unlikely to do so by a substantial amount", and of course only time will tell. The previous poll had about double that at the end of its featured run, which this one won't, by reason of suckage.

    Although the "it's only natural" defense has some tendencies towards truth, they're only that.

    Once I was in an auto accident in which I was driving and someone backed out of their driveway, into the road, smashing into my driver-side door and pushing my car off the road.

    After the "repairs" were complete, the seat belt didn't work properly anymore. Instead of resting while in use, and retracting when the door was opened, it thought the door was always open and always pulled itself trying to retract. This was damage caused by the accident that was not repaired by the body shop.

    They refused to repair it, claiming in arbitration that since the driver's door gets more use than other doors, "it's only natural" that it would degrade before the other doors did.

    In other words, the body shop used that phrase in order to more fully suck.

    Be careful with it!

    [103...] The previous poll had about double that at the end of its featured run, which this one won't

    Self-reply to document the datum that it finished off that featured run at around 138 votes. The reader may choose to interpret that as "Almost as much as other polls" or as "hmm, less than other polls finish their featured run with" as he or she chooses.

    One thing's for sure, 103 * 2 != 138.
