Molson Coors considers getting into marijuana business in Canada

Company looking to invest, collaborate on cannabis-infused beverages

Denver-based Molson Coors Brewing Co. is weighing whether to expand into the sector with Canada poised to legalize the drug for recreational use this October. The brewer is said to have held talks with several Canadian-based marijuana companies to invest and collaborate in cannabis-infused beverages in an attempt to halt declining beer sales, according to a Friday report from BNN Bloomberg, citing several unidentified people familiar with the matter.

I know several cannabis smokers who really only drink much while smoking - the combination is a very different experience than either alone. Of course, if you're the sort of person who drinks until they pass out, then yeah, I can totally see how it wouldn't appeal to you. Also. I'd suggest you consider toning it down a bit - you're doing some serious cumulative brain and liver damage at those levels of alcohol poisoning. In fact you're probably much better off passing out faster, since cannabis amplifies the psychological effects of alcohol but not the damage done by it.

Now personally I'm not a big fan of the idea of blended products either - though I might try cannabeer out of curiosity - cannabis is a close relative of hops after all, with many of the same psychoactive components in addition to the THC, CBD, and many other hemp-specific compounds.
