Activist publishes 11,000 Wikileaks Twitter direct messages

An activist has published 11,000 direct messages on Twitter between the Wikileaks account and a group of its supporters. The direct messages were published by Emma Best on her own website. Her Twitter account states that she is a journalist on the East Coast. Best has been critical of Wikileaks and has advocated for government transparency. Some of the direct messages were previously published, but this is the first time all of the direct messages have been posted.

The messages show that Wikileaks wanted the GOP to defeat Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential elections. "We believe it would be much better for the GOP to win," the Wikileaks account states to a supporter named "Emmy B" in one of the messages from 2015.

Why would they do that?

Clinton: I don't recall joking about droning Julian Assange

Wikileaks should publish these leaked messages as soon as possible!

Though seriously, there's always someone somewhere who takes issue with things. So to say certain issues aren't political, in my opinion, isn't very practical. I also think democrats might be suffering from a bit of bias when they get offended that Wikileaks publishes leaks about Hillary Clinton/DNC. Wikileaks leaked things, not surprising in my opinion. I think we should stop responding and debating to these sorts of ad hominem arguments.

I think that if we don't stop responding to ad hominem attacks on subjects like wikileaks et al, we are giving them legitimacy that they they don't deserve. The only response we ought to give them is to call the speaker out for making ad hominem attacks.

Democrats will love Wikileaks once Trump's second term starts and they start kicking into gear like they did during W and Obama's second terms.
