Brett Kavanaugh has been confirmed as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States. The vote was 50-48 in favor of Kavanaugh.

Senators Collins, Flake, and Manchin had already announced their intentions to confirm Kavanaugh before the vote was held. Senator Lisa Murkowski, who was previously ready to vote "no", agreed to vote "present" instead so that Senator Steve Daines could attend his daughter's wedding instead of being present in the Senate to support Kavanaugh.

You seem to be as eager as Azuma for this to happen.

America is currently multiple tribes thrown onto a common land who share almost nothing in common. The vision Progs have for this territory is utterly incompatible with Americans continuing to live on it as Americans. America is utterly incompatible with their vision, if my faction restores America as Founded and intended the Progs are themselves without a homeland. The 3rd world invaders the Progs have dumped into our midst have to date shown little inclination to adopt anything approximating American values, many openly call for Americans to instead adopt their alien ways and languages. La Raza (whatever they rebranded to, it is a sham I don't intend to respect enough to Google) openly speaks of tearing off the whole SouthWest part of the U.S. and rejoining it to Mexico. The Muslims want Sharia zones. And so on.

War is coming. It is not stoppable at this point, the only questions left are the timing and the initial starting conditions for each faction. And as I said above, the Progs only avoid open violence because they have been winning without firing a shot. The second they believe they are losing with little hope of reversing that trend before their situation becomes enough worse that their odds of winning an appeal to arms is diminished, they will not hesitate to strike while they still can. My side had been retreating for a Century but was just about of ground to surrender, had the Trumpening not come along when it did we would probably have had to start the festivities soon.

Everybody has evaluated the tactical landscape and come to the conclusion that whoever attacks first does so at a huge disadvantage but when the alternative is total extermination (or worse) anyway.... sooner or later the equilibrium will be upset enough that one of the sides will either be forced to go first or a side will think it has sufficient advantage that it can win it all.

Haven't even heard anyone who actually understands the situation propose a peaceful way out of this mess. It is gonna go foom.

While your at it, the Hassidic & Conservative Jews have their quasi-autonomous zones in the northeast, where some degree of civil court is heard in and ajudicated in their "kosher kourts" (beth din). recalling a story I read about a non-Jew's...challenges... dealing with a bike accident he had riding through one of those enclaves in NYC. then there are the Amish & other significant Anabaptist communities that have some measure of legal autonomy from their surrounding communities. There are the enclaves like Colorado City, UT, that are more or less fundamentalist LDS outcast/heretics autonomous zones (they elect their own sheriffs so handle their local law enforcement, as it were...and keep the riffraff out). Theres the whole Hutterite thing thats been on a slow boil in Montana for years. Or all the various insular ethnic/religious enclaves everywhere in the US who desire to keep thing "in house" as it were, and simply won't report things out of the community. Or "The Originals", how tribal lands in the US are definitely distinct and very distinct judicial systems from surrounding jurisdictions. or, hell, even deferring pedophile Roman Catholic priests to be "dealt with" by the Church...

    Heep tilting at those windmills...

The point is, all the religious whackery "ism" you object to Islamic people professing to do already exists in the US and is well-established.

Yeah. Sadly you are probably right. Looking sidelong at the twitter crowd calling for my death every day though, I don't see much of an enemy. They can't clean a rifle or grow their own food, or really take care of themselves in any way. I don't think it will be much of a war. More like standing by and watching them starve themselves.

Haven't even heard anyone who actually understands the situation propose a peaceful way out of this mess.

I think there's a two-prong strategy here that would work fine: 1) don't screw up the economy any more than it has been, and 2) serious prison time for anyone who tries to start civil war 2.0. My take is that the conflict you mention is driven mostly by economic competition from the developing world combined with dumb local policies that have driven up cost of living considerably. Cheap developing world labor versus artificially expensive developed world labor.

My take is that a good portion of the above problems will sort themselves out as the developing world becomes more wealthy and a good portion of it nears wage parity with the developed world over the next two decades. We just need to run out the clock a little and much of the economic drive for civil war 2.0 will go away.

As for the ideologies, they've always been there. They haven't always had this many followers. More people follow these sorts of movements when times are tough.

Two decades? We've been waiting on that for a century already. The only way Mexico will ever achieve something approaching economic parity with the US is if we tank the shit out of our own economy.

As I said, nobody who understands the issues involved sees a way out. Clearly you do not.

Economics are only part of the problem but it is insurmountable on its own. One side wants full on Venezuelan, Cuban, etc. Communism and the other wants a freer market than the "mixed" economy we suffer from now. Hint: Corporatism is not a free market, it is closer to Fascism. Look at all the Fasces that went up around the time we adopted Corporatism and realize it isn't a coincidence and it isn't, as often deflected with, some throwback to Roman times.

One side wants to extend the sexual revolution beyond gays, beyond trannies to fucking children. The other side increasingly wants to put the perverts in ovens. As I leave Libertarianism and see there appears no way to roll this filth only part way back I lean more toward toward the oven solution daily. If Democrats keep doubling down, forcing the choice to eventually be one of standing by while they "normalize" fucking children or putting every Democrat in the country into an oven, I gotta go with the ovens. Did not expect to end up there, but reality doesn't care.

The former is mostly strengthened due to the economic stress the developed world is under at present. Take that away and most of its followers will lose interest just as happened before in the US after the Great Depression ended.

Hint: Corporatism is not a free market, it is closer to Fascism. Look at all the Fasces that went up around the time we adopted Corporatism and realize it isn't a coincidence and it isn't, as often deflected with, some throwback to Roman times.

The deflection is accurate here. Roman Republic/Empire symbology was adopted first by the US and has been present since the beginning of the US. For example, the neo-classical style of buildings in Washington DC long predates the adoption of Roman symbols by Fascism. For example, construction on the Capitol Dome started around 1855. We also have a variety of cities named after cities or persons of Roman antiquity such as Cincinnati, Ohio (named 1790), Rome, Georgia (named 1834), and Naples, Florida (named some point in 1870s or 1880s).

Meanwhile I see use of the fasces in 1915 for the design of the Mercury dime which predates establish of fascism. The designer was a neo-classical artist with heavy use of such imagery.

Culturally, Roman symbology goes all the way to the beginning of the US, such as the Society of the Cincinnati [wikipedia.org]. So US instances of fasces aren't an indication of Fascism, but rather a hearkening back to the Roman Republic, just as those symbols were for the Fascists.

One side wants to extend the sexual revolution beyond gays, beyond trannies to fucking children.

Ok. Pedophiles aren't magically powerful in their ability to influence others, and they're present in the conservative side as well. Nor do we have an indication that pedophilia is on the rise. I think this "Do it for the kids" argument is beneath you.

If Democrats keep doubling down, forcing the choice to eventually be one of standing by while they "normalize" fucking children or putting every Democrat in the country into an oven, I gotta go with the ovens. Did not expect to end up there, but reality doesn't care.

This is a classic demonization argument. Sure, there's a lot of nutty people out there, but sorry, they're not normalizing pedophilia. But one needs an argument like that, if you're working yourself up to stuff someone in an oven rather than trying to "understand the issues involved".

Wrong. Do you even know how to use your side's info networks? Google and Wikipedia say Italian Fascism started in, wait for it, 1915. Two years after Woodrow Wilson, the father of American Fascism, was elected here. When was the Lincoln Memorial, filled with fascist imagery built? When did the fasces get added to the United States House of Representatives? Care to revise and extend your remarks?

Yes they are. You might not want to see it yet but yes, as World War Trans winds down and they are mopping up by shooting the wounded, adding the second P to the letter salad has already begun. The next battle ends when Roman Polanski comes home to a hero's welcome. He fled the country after being convicted of fucking a thirteen year old girl in the ass. (Don't worry, Whoppi has decreed it wasn't "rape rape" and since the check cleared the now adult woman is fine with clearing his name and letting him come home.) They want to normalize that, open your eyes and look at what your side's leading edge "thinkers" are writing. You are already either expending a great deal of effort in NOT seeing it or lying. Personally I tend toward the lying hypothesis.

You are correct that pedos are everywhere. But one side thinks they are evil and need to be put in prison (or just shot) and the other side thinks they are the next frontier in intersectionality.
