Brett Kavanaugh has been confirmed as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States. The vote was 50-48 in favor of Kavanaugh.
Senators Collins, Flake, and Manchin had already announced their intentions to confirm Kavanaugh before the vote was held. Senator Lisa Murkowski, who was previously ready to vote "no", agreed to vote "present" instead so that Senator Steve Daines could attend his daughter's wedding instead of being present in the Senate to support Kavanaugh.

I was not permitted to vote in November 2004, November 2011 and August of this year because there were problems with my registration.

The registration deadline in Washington where I live is Monday. Some states have much more lenient deadlines; I didn't realize until just not that they're not all the same. I'll look the deadlines up for each state then will add them to the above page.
North Dakota does not require registration while Maine doesn't have a way to check registration online, that's why there's only 48 states.
If North Dakota can hold elections without registration, why can they all, Hmm?

No worries then, I'll just bus in a few thousand warm bodies from Minneapolis, that's enough to swing the vote in North Dakota.

Only landowners should be allowed to vote. Homeless? What makes you think we even want you to vote? You might be from Russia, for all we know.

Then only landowners should be subject to the law and pay taxes. We're not going to let you apply rules to and take money from people who have no say.

Great idea, then the voting body would consist of banks, mortgage companies and corporate entities, and a statistically insignificant number of private citizens who had managed to pay off their property. If you have a mortgage on your house/land then you don't own it yet so you don't get a vote (your lender gets yours). Further, there are a lot of foreign companies that own property in the US. Should go well...
Also, there by their own choices or not, burdens to society or not, American citizens are still citizens even if they are homeless. The fact that you would single them out as less deserving of the very same rights you feel entitled to just makes you a bully and a fucking asshole.

Nice catch - the banks do own most of the property around here. People paying mortgages aren't "land owners". But, I'm free and clear, so I'd still get to vote. I ain't rich, but it's nice not being in debt!!
And, you'll admit, I've trolled all of you very nicely!! ROFLMAO!!!

So, who owns the land? The landowner gets to vote for you by proxy. No sweat, man. Just like feudalism!
