Brett Kavanaugh has been confirmed as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States. The vote was 50-48 in favor of Kavanaugh.

Senators Collins, Flake, and Manchin had already announced their intentions to confirm Kavanaugh before the vote was held. Senator Lisa Murkowski, who was previously ready to vote "no", agreed to vote "present" instead so that Senator Steve Daines could attend his daughter's wedding instead of being present in the Senate to support Kavanaugh.

I'm not even a USAian, but he's in the News here in Oz as well.
Regardless of the allegations, if you consider the hearings as a job interview, he should have failed.
Read the transcripts. He was combative, very evasive, got emotional, and misunderstood questions (either deliberately or not, it doesn't matter).
Not the sort of person I would want in a position that sits in judgement at all, let alone in the highest court in the land.

But, America. America is combative, evasive, can get emotional, and often misunderstands the situation. You need look no further than the invasion of Iraq. If what you say is all true, then Kavanaugh is a perfect choice for Supreme Court Justice.
