    Sure, I'd like to know if Apple does something interesting, such as a significant reworking of Darwin or switching architectures again, etc. But I'm not so interested in the "Apple has released their 20XX line of laptops" or "Rumor says Apple will add three new colors to their phone lineup". I don't care about those stories when HP or Samsung are the companies in question, and I don't care about them when Apple is the company in question. And unfortunately, most "Apple news" is of that uninteresting sort.
