Ehhh, haven't logged in to Gab in weeks. I read your post, looked at Ari's submission, then logged in. They're still up, but they have a deadline on Monday, when the host is going to drop them.
The site seems to be half-broken. Pages load, very slowly. Some of the content appears to be missing, starting with the home page. Ehhhhhh . . .
Seems odd. Paypal has severed ties because the pipe bomber has a Gab account - but Paypal hasn't severed ties with Facefook when some criminal is discovered to have a Facefook account.
Lotta rumbling on Gab. I can't be assed to continue navigating a broken site, trying to figure things out. I am disappointed in one respect. I was almost half convinced that the pipe bomber was a liberal, trying to drum up sympathy and support for the left.

Good start but then you went astray.
"White supremacy is a failure." Yep.
"Socialism" - well, it seems to be working well for folks in Europe: nice health care, economy, social mobility, education. Also medicare, Social Security. Good stuff.
"Progressivism" See above, also led to a lot of improvements in the US around the turn of the last century - cleaned up a bunch of corruption, added things like ballot initiatives, women voting, and direct election of senators, civil rights laws. etc.
"Gloabalism" Not sure what that is. But NATO has been a success, UN helped with facilitating some aid, reducing conflicts. Working together better than killing each other. Need a global approach to address climate change.
All in all, I would rather be living now versus 50, 100, 500, 1,000 years ago.

Some things work with a free market approach and others don't. You have to go issue by issue and decide how to tackle it, and cannot just make a blanket condemnation of "socialism."

Your analysis shows the three I identified as right-wing. Stalinism was not global in scope. It advocated "socialism in one country." Maoism was similarly nationalist in character. With the Nazis, we see ethnic nationalism. None of these rise to globalism, however.
For a globalist ideology, we can look at capitalism.

Projection, the first resort of assholes like Runaway. I used to think he was alright, and he INTENDS to be OK, but in reality he is 100% a partisan asshole. That thread a little while back where you both had the civil war argument should have been his wake up call with enough users explaining to him how it was he was the instigator, but I guess the rightwing propaganda has taken a really insidious hold on that crowd.

Makes total sense to me, PayPal is simply following the money--very little to be made on Gab--while doing some easy "social signaling". FB has users of all stripes and oodles of money to be made there.
