Sleep tight.
I am an insomniac. There are many days each week that I only get 2 - 3 hours of sleep. It can wreak havoc on a variety of normal body functions, including short term memory and cognitive abilities.
Try to catch up on your sleep. I know you don't want to, and that you want to <insert something here> because you've lost so much time and productivity lately. But you need to rest and catch up on your sleep in order to right your ship. If you don't you'll end up cycling through these episodes over and over again.
On a side note, I have noticed an increase in unstable activity since your kidney was removed. I certainly hope it was not the organ keeping the rest of your body in check. If it was, you should pen "My Kidney Was My Rudder" before things go completely off the rails.
