My wife has been watching the Netflix show Lucifer. I watch it with her as I read my tablet/post on SoylentNews.
One moment caught my eye and made me appreciate the show more: at one point Lucifer plays "All along the watchtower" on the piano. I enjoy that song and it caught my attention...
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SFDOSIecALU
...the song ends and Lucifer's mother walks in: and it's Tricia Helfer, '6' from Battlestar Galactica.
NICE little touch!
I like it when there are little touches like that (another one: Archer doing a Bob's Burgers cross-over).
Anyone else notice things like this?

Charlie Brown, in the somewhat sad comic Peanuts, has a distinctive zigzag line on his shirt.
You can see that influence in Homer Simpson's hair, [gregburdine.com] Numerous lamps and vases [gstatic.com] around Calvin's house (there is one that looks exactly like Charlie Brown's shirt but I can't find it, but there are a few examples like in the link), There are multiple occurrences of this in the TV series The Maxx but this [blogspot.com] example is with Sarah's green sweater, and undoubtedly also in the (Calvin-as-teenager) comic Zitslike this occurrence here(notice the popcorn bowl) [blogspot.com], and a few other places I can't recall.

What's the relevance of this info? Is Lucy (Netflix) about to yank the football and watch us all die a horrible death?

Yup, love that scene.
Mine has to this one from the first episode of Stargate SG1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZRoLHG7zGE [youtube.com]
(To those ignorant: Richard Dean Anderson is the actor that played both MacGyver and Col. O'Neill).

You gotta be pretty young to not know MacGyver is O'Neill.
Sadly, i'm not pretty young, lol.

Same thing here, came back from a business trip and my wife had started to watch it. I saw the episode where Lucifer sings/plays a piano version of the song and I thought it was actually pretty nicely done. I would not have expected it to sound so good, especially on the piano :).
