CNet:
Review site Rotten Tomatoes is instituting some changes, leading many to believe it's responding to the recent controversy over the site's Captain Marvel page. But Paul Yanover, president of Fandango, which owns the site, told CNET that's not the whole story.
In case you were snapped away by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, and thus missed the recent controversy, here's a recap. Captain Marvel doesn't come out until March 8, but users were already leaving negative comments about the film on Rotten Tomatoes, a process dubbed "review bombing." Many recent comments seemed to come from those who are angry at star Brie Larson.
The movie review site has removed users' ability to leave reviews or to indicate they are not interested in seeing a film [EDIT: before it comes out].

Rotten Tomatoes is apparently a review website. Oh, well okay I don't care if people say what they think about a movie before or after. I don't care what they say at all. Had to figure out what could upset people about this Brie Larson actor. Okay, well she is annoyed about white (I assume she means all colors) male critics lecturing her about her movies made for women according to Huffington. I get that, that could be annoying.
Captain Marvel being a woman can't possible be an issue. Captain Marvel is practically a gender bender who has appeared in many shapes. This is no Ghostbusters with women which disappointed many fans and got the gender obsessed people screaming at each other. If you're going to turn a story upside down you need a strong movie. I have no opinion. Haven't seen it, I don't like modern remakes of old movies. I've never seen any of the new Star Wars movies either.
If the movie is good it's good, if it isn't it isn't. I've never been a fan of Captain Marvel. It's a boring character. I'm more into Wolverine with his animalistic revenge, but a good heart and Spiderman the nerdy superhero who struggle to do the right thing. I hate the superhero movies. The comicbooks are where superheroes belong. On paper. Not digital.
