Let's get this out of the way: I don't claim to have been particularly sympathetic to MDC and his problems.
What I see is that some of the same people expressing regret at MDC's passing express political views that make getting access to care and treatment for mental health problems more difficult, if not impossible. We all know whom I am talking about.
Is this hypocrisy of the first order? Perhaps that regret should be channeled into espousing policies that would provide access to the right care for people like MDC?
