Emergency Declared in NY over Measles: Unvaccinated Barred from Public Spaces:
Plagued by a tenacious outbreak of measles that began last October, New York's Rockland County declared a state of emergency Tuesday and issued a directive barring unvaccinated children from all public spaces.
Effective at midnight Wednesday, March 27, anyone aged 18 or younger who has not been vaccinated against the measles is prohibited from public spaces in Rockland for 30 days or until they get vaccinated. Public spaces are defined broadly in the directive as any places:
[W]here more than 10 persons are intended to congregate for purposes such as civic, governmental, social, or religious functions, or for recreation or shopping, or for food or drink consumption, or awaiting transportation, or for daycare or educational purposes, or for medical treatment. A place of public assembly shall also include public transportation vehicles, including but not limited to, publicly or privately owned buses or trains...
The directive follows an order from the county last December that barred unvaccinated children from schools that did not reach a minimum of 95 percent vaccination rate. That order—and the directive issued today—are intended to thwart the long-standing outbreak, which has sickened 153 people, mostly children.

And I don't know what's going on between Marty B. and Beth M. But Soylent News, more and more, is becoming Beth Mole News. With so many stories trying to turn regular folks into Germophobes. And trying to put us Germophobes into a complete and total panic. It's always a Sub from Marty B. And it's always, time to hate somebody. Today it's the Jews of Rockland County. Monday, it was the Africans, West Africa. Sunday, the Doctor in San Diego. Before that, it was the Seventh Day Adventists in Washington & Oregon. And before that, our Upstate New York Jews. Which, for those that don't know, Rockland County is Upstate. Beth wants us to be very afraid of people that have a different Religion than us. And, people that don't look like us. She says they have these terrible diseases. And the Replies are always the same. Saying, let's use our nuclear, let's nuke Africa, nuke Washington, nuke New York so we won't catch cooties. Big waste of the nuclear that cost us a lot, and took many years to build up.
And I don't know if Marty B. is just horny for Beth. If he loves the "clicks" from the scarey stories. Or, what. But it's very annoying. Because my people are the ones getting the calls. Saying, "oh, Jewish Measles is breaking out, please use your nuclear." "Oh, Africa EBOLA is comeing, please nuke." And it's tieing up the switchboard, the important calls can't get through. The folks that are calling to compliment me on a magnificent speech. The folks that want to buy my many books. Foes calling to surrender. And so much more!

your immune deficient person or unvaccinated baby is not my problem. keep them at home. i won't submit to being treated like a farm animal just because someone else could get sick from a disease. that's your fucking problem, you stupid fucking authoritarian pieces of shit.
