An Aeroflot passenger aircraft caught fire while crash-landing at Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport, after an onboard emergency. Forty-one people have died in the tragedy. RT recaps how the tragic events unfolded.

As long as the plane stayed facing the wind, heat and smoke were being pulled away from the passenger compartment, as well as the wings. That last little slide, the plane went sideways to the wind. That probably cost some of the lives that were lost. That was a bad break, in an already bad situation.

Won't they have a show trial first? Which takes time. But then the poeple mysteriously are found dead for unknown reasons, and the trial, and related expenses are cancelled.

That was Soviet Russia. This is Putin's Russia, whichever oligarch hasn't shown Putin enough respect recently will be accused of corruption and found to be behind it in some way, followed by a lengthy jail sentence and Putin or one of his cronies taking over their business empire.

Hey, it's like getting TV personalities elected in countries previously opposed to you, or giving Russian passports to people in countries you're likely to "visit" soon.
