Interesting info on how big a scum Biden is, and why maybe Trump may win again.
If they don't dump Biden, Trump will ROAST HIS ASS and win. Again.

Are they THAT STUPID to push him forward?

Not much of a maybe to it. Unless they run someone outside the establishment who's also not a radical LWNJ, he's going to win again and that's all there is to it. I'll probably be tossing my vote either towards the most electable third party or to going fishing on election day.

It's annoying when clickbait-spewing asshats agree with me but even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

Biden is Hilary 2.0 and is a "swamp monster" so bad that the Creature from the Black Lagoon would tell him to take it down a notch or five. The only reason he leads the polls is because everyone has heard of him. These are basically name-recognition polls at this point, not actual chances of winning in over a year from now, and by the time the election rolls around everyone will know both candidate's names.

In addition, the democrats are suffering from the same flaw in thinking this time around too: YOU DON'T NEED TO GET YOUR BASE TO VOTE FOR YOU. Your base wouldn't be considered your base if they weren't already going to vote for you. Instead you need to get outsiders and disenfranchised (in the motivational sense, not legal sense) to vote for you. That is how you win. Barack went from unknown to winner with that strategy, and did it somewhat less effectively the second time around, Bernie almost got the nomination that way, W. got the nomination that way and at least one presidential election, Clinton got the nomination and elections that way and almost got his VP one vicariously, and Trump got the nomination that way and the presidency.

Instead of doubling down on bad strategies, try attracting new people. Trump runs the big risk of losing a big chunk of people through clever maneuvering by a democratic opponent to pounce on obvious weak spots. In addition, the Democrats are smart enough to do it. The problem is that Democrats would rather keep Trump in power to keep the money flowing in to their elite and their own power, than lose it by nominating someone that can actually win but would flip their own power structure on its head. And the media on both sides is more than happy to oblige.

Finally, you should think about getting an absentee ballot. That way you can vote for whomever (third party is better than nothing) AND go fishing on election day!

Yes, we've heard of him. We've heard of AOC too. Is the party paying for the polls? Cause among everybody I know that doesn't have their head completely up the DNC's ass, Biden never comes up.

Now once we get closer to the convention next year, I'll see people rationalize why as leftists they should support Biden, just like they did when they jumped ship from Bernie to Hillary in 2016.

But that is still far away. Biden is currently the anointed one, but the tables could still turn if his touching or his late son's interests in the Ukraine become significant.

You aren't keeping mind how these polls are conducted. First, they poll the random people who answer calls to their (usually landline) phones from numbers they don't know and have the time to sit there and fill out said survey for $5, if anything is offered at all. Second, they will also ask questions like this: "I’m going to read a list of possible candidates for the Democratic nomination for President in 2020. As you hear each name on the list, please tell me, on a scale of one to five, that candidates chances of beating the Republican candidate if the 2020 Presidential Election were being held today? [list of names]"

Both of those factors together work in Biden's favor due to their resulting sample and the way the question is phrased. Not to mention, the counfounders like ordering of candidates, choice fatigue, subject fatigue, and more. And that is before you get into things like push polling, unblinding and other manipulations.

But speaking of poll questions, my all time favorite poll question is “Who is the candidate you’d rather grab a beer with?” That was used for multiple elections to try to get at likability between candidates, until G.W.B. started winning that poll question with huge margin. Even a majority of Democrats were choosing him over Gore. So the Democratic operatives famously started to make fun of the question to downplay what it is really showing (while dismissing how they themselves used it for years).

You've only heard of AOC if you pay way too much fucking attention to politics and not enough to the people in your life that actually matter. Or if you have a roomie who can't pry himself away from political podcasts.

Such a horrible waste! Unless he's out ice fishing or something. Tell him he would be much better off listening to the pope read the Liturgy, in Latin (if today's popes still know Latin).

I've tried my best but he even listens to stoned dumbass Joe Rogan (nice guy but, yes, he's usually stoned and usually a dumbass) when he runs out of intelligent talking heads to listen to. I've taken to just putting headphones in and listening to music on road trips to keep from trying to choke the driver while moving.
