"We've always brought the country together. 'We the people, we hold these truths to be self-evident.' (Trump) flies in the face of all the basic things that we've never really met the standard (of, but) we've never abandoned it before," Biden said. "He looks like he's just flat abandoned the theory that we are one people."

Riiiiiight. Never really met...or tried to meet. Why try to meet it when you can have the rich on one side and the French fry servers on the other. We're one people, 'cept some of us are more 'one' than others. Moooooo.

"Biden on Monday also doubled down on his support for a new assault weapons ban and suggested his administration would try to create a buyback program to get those weapons off the street."

Riiiiiight. That'll work. The crazies will be ALL over that.

"Biden was clear that he would not seek to confiscate privately owned or purchased guns, instead advocating for "a national buyback program" intended to get the weapons "off the street."

You can vote for me because the laws I make won't matter.

"The fact of the matter is (assault weapons) should be illegal. Period," Biden said. "The Second Amendment doesn't say you can't restrict the kinds of weapons people can own. You can't buy a bazooka. You can't have a flame-thrower."

The 2nd amendment ALSO says you can't restrict hand guns either: clubs are arms. Ban ALL hand guns too!

Good ol' creepy Uncle Joe: it's safe to vote for him cos he'll do nothing to piss you off, really.... except feel your daughter's boob and sniff your wife's hair.

This guy is same old same old ( but creepier).
So.......the parties SAFE choice, I guess.

      Dig away - it's no secret that I don't like Obama, but you won't find the frothing-at-the-mouth hatred for Obama that you crazy bastards have for Trump. Fact is, I only like Trump a little bit more than I liked Obama. BTW - do you remember who the original Birther was? Why - it was SHRILLARY!! Now, I truly hate that bitch.     On Tuesday night in New York City, the sound of a motorcycle backfiring caused thousands of people to panic, stampeding through Times Square in fear that yet another mass shooting was underway.

    First, the US government has ritualized state violence and carried out 30 years of permanent war. The US government has unleashed unprecedented levels of violence on countries like Iraq, Yemen, Syria, Afghanistan, Somalia, Libya and Pakistan. The police, using the weapons of the wars abroad against the domestic population, kill more than one thousand people a year without facing punishment.

    A whole lexicon of state violence—including words like “disposition matrix,” “shock and awe,” “extraordinary rendition” and “officer-involved shooting”—has developed over the last two decades, expressing the degree to which violence has become embedded in American life. Now this violence is blowing back into American society with extreme force.

    Second, massive levels of social inequality dominate all aspects of political and social life. The rich have acquired unprecedented fortunes and transformed themselves into the most criminal and corrupt ruling elite that has ever existed in human history, showering themselves with endless wealth and rewarding every form of financial criminality.

    Trump represents the rotten combination of all of capitalism’s most criminal elements: Wall Street, real estate speculation, casinos, TV entertainment, the military and long dealings with the Democratic and Republican parties.

    Third, the political establishment works to suppress any progressive expression of social opposition to inequality and war. Above all, the entire state, media and trade union apparatus is engaged in the suppression of the class struggle.
