I wonder if the rest of the galaxy should be grateful that they're still out of reach, or if they're just like us, and we should be grateful to be out of their reach

    The leak was almost certainly a manufacturing defect that was secretly patched up badly by the factory. It was probably patched with a drop of glue that popped loose. Russia is just embarrassed.

    Meanwhile, NASA has their own embarrassing problem in space. They need to launch an FBI team to make an arrest. Strangely, 100% of crime in space is committed by Lesbian Americans. It's not drunk Russian dudes causing the problems.
