*Never Warren*...

But, this is how it works, right? We don't dare seek out somebody that these "donors" or the Party don't approve of. Advocating that is bonkers!

I sincerely hope that nobody considers this an endorsement. I still want Oprah

Wall Street Democratic donors warn the party: We'll sit out, or back Trump, if you nominate Elizabeth Warren

Don't criticize them for being rational. Learn from them: Vote for policy, not party. If the democrats deliver your policy of choice, vote Democrat. If the republicans do so, vote Republican. Tribalism just splits the votes equally leaving the power over policy points to the donors.

Toute nation a le gouvernement qu'elle mérite.

Sounds reasonable and rational. But, how many candidates promise this or that "policy" only to renege after winning?

It is definitely a rational way to look at it. It is also rational to realize that it is better to vote for the guy who might renege vs the guy who says they are against said policy.

Some chance is better than no chance at all.

You can always vote for somebody else when the bums renege. Reelecting them to a 40 year career is bogus. Instead of believing their campaign bullshit, make an effort to check their background just like any other employee.

They only renege after winning when it comes to policies that help ordinary people. The rich and mega-corporations are always safe when a corporatist is in power (i.e. almost always).

The time for rationality is passed. In the modern world babies are crying due to fear of climate change. No baby should ever cry.
