It's ok. He's expendable. The DNC can settle on Warren to keep interest high. And with a well divided congress she won't be a threat if she were to win.

But, then who's next? Schiff, Schumer, Pelosi, Barr, Giuliani, the whole cabinet? Anybody important?

The prez?? He'll skate, and now with more fired up support.

So then, sorry to ask twice, but who profits from this circus?

    OK, Joe is the dem's sacrificial goat. They're going to dump him, no matter what. Joe may very well end up convicted of multiple crimes in absentia. (The US isn't going to extradite a former vice president - no one expects that to happen, do they?)

    So, now, Joe is a disgraced convict. How does the left justify continuing the attack against Trump? Impeach him, for what? For having said bad things about a criminal? At that point, the dems have to drop any pretense of holding some moral high ground, and admit that they are just a tribe of barbarians defending one of their own savages. And, tribal politics comes to America, by way of Pelosi and company.

    On second thought, being convicted won't be a disgrace for Joe. I read something recently in which Hollyweird and others still deify that fuckwit, Roman Polanski. All that supposed shock and horror over Epstein? Maybe Polanski didn't have as many victims as Epstein, but America's left does deify child molesters.
