Yeap... From a practical standpoint, why not? Can't do any harm. Just keep Bill busy out in the rose garden or something.

There should be no doubt that would clinch the race

The key is Oprah. She's no dummy. Putting her out there as VP will repair almost 30 years of damage. Queen Bee diplomat with a great deal on scud missiles (still gotta pay tribute). America will be loved again. She is the chosen one.

I'm not really joking, eh? You people want a solution, this is it. Show me anything better. I dare ya!

Edit:

Lots of no votes against her here, and not a single solitary valid point. Oprah Derangement Syndrome is worse than that other one. Why do people cling so hard to broken bullshit? Are they that comfortable with it?

The DNC simply won't let Sanders in. His singular function is shepherding money. Sorry. You should know these people by now. All this same old shit goes so far back. And it's exactly the same shit now. Fuck it. I want Oprah. At least make the shit look good! And really, you underestimate her. You still haven't given a single thing that legitimately disqualifies her. Put her portfolio up against anybody's. Find some dirt, and I'll cross her off.

"The DNC simply won't let Sanders in."

And the DNC needs to be smashed if the Democratic party is to be saved.

I mean it. Smashed. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz should be ashamed to show her face in public for another decade, at least. Instead she's paid to show up on MSM and speak as an expert!

"You should know these people by now."

I do. I also know that the base can overthrow their cart. And it needs to be done.

    "I want Oprah."

    Ok.

"At least make the shit look good!"

    ?

"And really, you underestimate her. You still haven't given a single thing that legitimately disqualifies her."

Well, no, I gave you a single thing that disqualifies your dream ticket of HRC /and/ Oprah though. HRC.

Oprah in another context? I don't know. I suspect she's another out of touch multi-millionaire (maybe billionaire?) with lots of media connections. That doesn't sound so good. But hey, if she wants to throw her hat in the ring and make her own statements I'd read them, I'd definitely give her a chance.

On a ticket with HRC? You can put anyone you want in the VP slot, it's still a no. No more Clinton.

Then run Oprah as your candidate and get your cross aisle love from a VP choice. If you insist on her, why make her run as a second fiddle?

The lesson of 2016 is unambiguous to me, Hillary isn't electable for a sizable portion of the electorate, that she is even running is incredibly embarrassing, because she must know this as well as we do and her candidacy will only bleed votes to Mr. 45.

That said, Oprah wouldn't be my first choice, but you aren't wrong, the field is looking awful thin...

Neither one of them are running. This is just a lame attempt at concern trolling.

        :-) Yet...

Patience, my dear democrat. The day is young

And your silly cliches are quite unbecoming. Or is this "talk like a teenager" day?

Don't believe the denials. Just wait a while. Remember, Nixon said he wasn't a crook. The republicans are helping to "rehabilitate" her image. Tag team in action. Gotta keep the Greens and everybody else out of the discussion.
