Yeap... From a practical standpoint, why not? Can't do any harm. Just keep Bill busy out in the rose garden or something.
There should be no doubt that would clinch the race
The key is Oprah. She's no dummy. Putting her out there as VP will repair almost 30 years of damage. Queen Bee diplomat with a great deal on scud missiles (still gotta pay tribute). America will be loved again. She is the chosen one.
I'm not really joking, eh? You people want a solution, this is it. Show me anything better. I dare ya!
Edit:
Lots of no votes against her here, and not a single solitary valid point. Oprah Derangement Syndrome is worse than that other one. Why do people cling so hard to broken bullshit? Are they that comfortable with it?

I can't imagine Oprah ever being palatable - unless, in the same way that Trump is palatable. Trump is only acceptable, in that he isn't nearly as bad as the offered alternative. Depending on who Oprah ran against, she could look good. But, Hillary? No freaking way. There are thousands of real shit birds out there that I would vote for over Hillary.
I can't imagine Oprah taking second seat to Hillary, and we all know Hillary won't take second seat. If she did, Oprah would be found dead of six gunshot wounds to the back of the head, and it would be ruled suicide, as usual.

Somebody has to find real dirt on Oprah before I scratch off my list. Hillary is a known entity, unfortunately everyone else is simply a non-contender, they're nuts, hardly worth thinking about, along with her of course, but if she can get Oprah's foot in the door, I'll take it. Oprah will completely "rehabilitate" Hillary's image. The PR will play very well for both. It will be the fashion statement of the millennium. The color coordination will be fantastic.
All I need are her views on war and austerity. I hope she's against it. If not, oops, oh well, it's only four years.

Dude, are you seriously going to sit there pretending Trump is better than Clinton when we have him on record committing ACTUAL treason? I know, "faaaaake newwwwwwz they're so meeeaaaan to Trump!"
C'mon, man up and look reality in the face. He is performing an ACTUAL witch hunt on a whistleblower and calling to execute him. Same AC here, Runaway I would like you to take some time and compile a list of political issues that are important to you. Please take your time and don't add emotional statements like "getting rid of demon democrats" or anything, then post a journal entry. Not looking for an essay, just a clear simple list.
I would truly like a list so we can compare and see where we agree. I have a suspicion there is more overlap within this community that gets beaten out by all the political disagreements.
I give you shit all the time so I am trying to reach out and see if we can have an honest analysis of our positions. I'll start with my two biggest pissues, universal healthcare and election reform.

A list of issues, in order of importance? I may just do that. But it doesn't take any serious thought to give you numero uno: War is bad. Any candidate who promises to involve the nation in yet more warfare, without any sort of an exit plan regarding the wars we are already involved in, is a horrible candidate. THAT was Hillary. Trump has not invaded any countries, has not started any more wars, and he doesn't even do much saber rattling.
Pretty much all other issues take a distant second, third, fourth, etc places behind that one idea. Eisenhower warned us about the military industrial complex, we didn't listen, and today, that MIC drives almost all politics in this country. Simply put, almost nothing else compares in importance.
Universal health care? Not bad - but how do we get there? Obamacare was absolutely NOT the way to do it. Obamacare proved to be a windfall for the insurance industry.
Election reform? Start with some serious term limits, and we might get somewhere. As long as we have career politicians in Washington running the country for their own benefit, election reform isn't going to happen.
Maybe one day I'll do an essay on the relative importance of issues in this country. I can tell you outright though, that the faux liberals running the D party today make no attempt to address any issues that I consider very important. For the most part, R's only make crappy attempts to address important issues.
