The FBI has received tips of threatening posts on social media calling for "unspecific mass shootings" linked to the release of the new psychological thriller, "Joker," starring Oscar-nominated actor Joaquin Phoenix that will hit theaters this Friday, according to a joint intelligence bulletin obtained by ABC News.
These threats have been circling online platforms since at least May 2019, but give no information indicating specific or credible threats to particular locations or venues, the bulletin said.
Some of the threats did contain references to a primarily online group called the involuntary celibate community, or Incels, and a subset that refers to itself as "Clowncels." However, the intelligence community doesn't necessarily regard the group as a whole as a violent one.
"While many Incels do not engage in violence, some within the community encourage or commit violent acts as retribution for perceived societal wrongdoing against them," the bulletin said. "Some Incel attackers have claimed inspiration from previous mass shooters."

That's what the woke media want you to think would happen at Joker screenings.
When it doesn't happen, they will fall silent and pretend they weren't hoping for people to die for the last two weeks.
What kind of gun-toting Incel would shoot up Joker anyway? They would pick a chick flick instead.

Wouldn't a gun-toting incel target a Planned Parenthood abortion place? Not likely to be many men there (perhaps one or two of the doctors), and every single woman there had sex -- but not with the incel.

A crowded theater on opening night is a good strike zone. Except maybe the seats shield people from bullets. A grenade or two would be perfect.
The men seeing a chick flick are probably not incels, but are there with their wives and girlfriends. Those men are legitimate love quest combatants.

Well, this guy [wikipedia.org] is not exactly an incel but the article does seem to indicate some sort of rage and/or contempt toward women. And the movie theater he shot up was showing Dark Knight Rises, [wikipedia.org] which is definitely not a chick flick (at least not according to my understanding of chick flicks).

One shooting at a movie theater does not make a pattern.
Tommorrow's mass shooters learn from the previous ones. They will know what kind of movies they should shoot up, or they will be laughed at for picking the wrong one.

True, but I will just note that I can't think of any chick flick that has had a mass murder. Zero is even less of a pattern than one. Just sayin'.
???? I would think that mass murder is not a laughing matter, regardless of who the victims are. Are you well?
