The FBI has received tips of threatening posts on social media calling for "unspecific mass shootings" linked to the release of the new psychological thriller, "Joker," starring Oscar-nominated actor Joaquin Phoenix that will hit theaters this Friday, according to a joint intelligence bulletin obtained by ABC News.
These threats have been circling online platforms since at least May 2019, but give no information indicating specific or credible threats to particular locations or venues, the bulletin said.
Some of the threats did contain references to a primarily online group called the involuntary celibate community, or Incels, and a subset that refers to itself as "Clowncels." However, the intelligence community doesn't necessarily regard the group as a whole as a violent one.
"While many Incels do not engage in violence, some within the community encourage or commit violent acts as retribution for perceived societal wrongdoing against them," the bulletin said. "Some Incel attackers have claimed inspiration from previous mass shooters."

If anonymous threats 'online' can be used to make any group a 'potential terrorist', then the fbi or anyone can just write whatever it wants about anyone and get laws made to go after their enemies.
What I saw from reading 8chan was a bunch of people trying to address a zionist cultural hegemony in the united states and world and israel's expansionist plans which include the ending of all human rights for everyone but israelis, while investigating elite crimes and the nature of the surveillance state.
That discussion was interrupted and channelled into outright nazism, race war, this entire 'incel' thing, 'Q-anon' utter bullshit, and threats of random violence, all which serve to prevent anyone else from being exposed to the facts regarding the infiltration and subversion of the american government by a foreign power.
Which is the pattern for the clearnet, any source of intelligence and community that focuses attention and scrutiny upwareds towards the ruling class of this oligarchy/plutocracy gets hit with a firehose of repulsive anti-intellectual nonsense and then a carefully coordinated mass media response, then a 'security' clampdown against speech.
The problem is AIPAC and the 'special' relationship with israel that lets Epsteins and Weinsteins get away with whatever they want while actual zionist irgun spies operate like paramilitaries to sew civil war.
It is like Invasion USA for the entire western world and the news channels have us looking for venezuelans and iranians when it has been AIPAC ruining the country and the world for their own interests the entire time under the cover of their exclusive claim to the holocaust and their exclusive, singular and expansive claim to protection under 'antisemitism' laws.
And if you are in the United States or Europe and most of the world as well, they collect and store all of your internet traffic.
If you are not addressing this problem, all of your work for freedom, human rights, tech rights, is completely wasted. You will use a processor built by israeli spies in a cloud managed by israeli spies and your transactions at the register will be allowed by israeli spies until such a time as they want to bring down your entire society.
Anyone excluding this from discussion, and how these people got Trump into office in the first place by betraying Bernie Sanders, is playing a child's game and should not be taken seriously, and may be in on it.
No one ever discusses the facts of this matter, they only dismiss the entire conversation prior to consideration due to the most effective hypnosis campaign in the history of the world.
Any american who is not at this point screaming to cancel the fake alliance with the traitors in israel and expel all of their spies is not an american and should leave.

Israel is a fascist ethno-state, but I think you have its relationship with the US backwards.
This is just good old US capitalism, doing the late-stage capitalist crisis thing, driving us straight towards ethno-fascism right here at home. No Jews or Muslims or Catholics or who ever else necessary. No secret, occult knowledge of a conspiracy will help us. The working class is the only social force that can get us out of this mess.
