My discomfort in the last few years, first with Russiagate and now with Ukrainegate and impeachment, stems from the belief that the people pushing hardest for Trump’s early removal are more dangerous than Trump. Many Americans don’t see this because they’re not used to waking up in a country where you’re not sure who the president will be by nightfall. They don’t understand that this predicament is worse than having a bad president.

[emph mine]

Here's looking at you, DNC!

When is she going to announce?

So, CYA? "I was just following orders"? Sorry, to be taken seriously, real evidence is required, recordings, pictures, receipts, the usual. They don't even need to expose themselves, just cough up the goods and/or go away.

          The reporter says,

The whistleblower said the official was "visibly shaken" by what had transpired

Get whatever "transpired" on tape please. Everybody involved right now is too emotional.

We know what transpired. Ukraine had already reopened the investigations months earlier, then Trump (who didn't know) was like hey why not look into that corrupt Biden stuff, then months later there was some kind of (seemingly unrelated) small aid package Ukraine got from the US. The only people who could be "visibly shaken" when they heard such an exchange are those who were involved in the corruption somehow.

So you heard the tapes? Unless you have clearance you didn't mention, you only know what the tabloids are telling you. It is very presumptuous to believe what they say. Whistleblowers bring evidence, not testimony. Send them back in with a wire.

Those are based on testimony, not recordings. All the good whistleblowers from the past came with real documentation. That's what we need here.

Sounds like someone neck deep in corruption:

So, Eric Ciaramella may have run the meeting that investigative reporter John Solomon has identified as ‘one of the earliest documented attempts to build up the now debunked Trump-Russia collusion narrative.’

For those of you who are not aware of NABU, it is the ‘anti-corruption’ group backed by George Soros that is actually tasked with going after people investigating real corruption.

This individual had previously leaked one of the President phone calls to General Kelly. Claiming the President had coordinated the firing of Comey with ‘Putin,’ when in reality it was Rod Rosenstein who recommended the firing of James Comey based on his own leaking.

Eric Ciaramella knows Alexandra Chalupa very well. Yes the same Chalupa that interfered in the election via Ukraine and the DNC. Yes the same Chalupa that worked with DNC serial Bomber and pedo Brett Kimberlin.

Sounds about as thin as the claims that so-and-so might be connected to Russian Intelligence because they met some guy that the US Intelligence claims without evidence was a Russian agent. I guess turn-about is fair play, but it would be nice to get some evidence of who supposedly did what.

Glancing at the linked stories from that website, is there any evidence to support their assertions? I found it remarkable how little evidence there was to support the assertions made in the two links. The claim that Eric Ciaramella is the "whistleblower" is based on unfounded blog and tweet assertions about what the whistleblower supposedly has done or is.

Similarly, from the other post [soylentnews.org] citing this particular blog, we have bald assertions that Ciaramella may have run a meeting which they might not have attended or the meeting might not even exist. And there's the claim of "secret impeachment proceedings" by the Democrats of the House. What's the basis for that claim?

There's way too many lazy claims without evidence. The final question from that blog bears mentioning:

Is Mr. Eric Ciaramella the now-infamous “whistleblower” (spy/traitor)?

This crosses the line to an attack, particularly disturbing since it's an attack on career bureaucrats who normally would be invisible. Who is painting the target?

Here's my take. We're seeing someone from the Trump leadership using bloggers to take out bureaucrats who aren't Trump supporters. Given how flimsy the evidence has been to this point, I imagine one or more of the bloggers mentioned gets inside dope and then coming up with a secondary excuse for why the laser targeting beam is focused on Ciaramella. This story above about Ciaramella and his purported motives may well be true, but let's remember who has inside knowledge and can most easily direct others to the attack.

My take still is that they're getting help connecting those dots in a way that is convenient to the Trump administration. I've seen propaganda spin like that before. And every time I tried to drill down to facts and evidence, I got links to other bloggers/twitters who just said stuff. That's the sort of murk that tells me that this story is far from mature enough to discuss. We need actual evidence of something. Not just "X tweeted" kind of stuff.

You're not seeing any evidence yet. (aside from the ongoing obstruction right now, no law breaking has been proven.) These "transcripts" are written by dime store novelists. I stated in another post, a real whistleblower will go in with a wire, camera, whatever, not write notes while getting the vapors over the content. Real evidence will implicate all the beautiful people. Neither side wants that. It just can't happen. Prosecution would turn into a confession, self incrimination.
