So while we want to pull troops out of these areas it doesn't mean do it blindly or ignore our obligations due to the messes we ourselves created.
The effect of that is that we'll stay in these wars forever. Why? Because the military industrial complex - which you're being a useful idiot for - will prolong these wars as long as possible, using the excuse that it's 'not the right time' to leave.
Here's the reality: The longer stay in these regions, the worse we'll destabilize them. The Taliban controls more of Afghanistan now than it did when we first invaded. We see article after article of civilian casualties, botched drone strikes, etc. You think that's not going to further radicalize people against us? You think the same military industrial complex which destabilized the region will now earnestly try to fix it, and be able to do so? That's incredibly naive.
Define victory for me, and then give me a timeline which lays out in concrete terms when we can leave these wars. Then, tell me how you plan on getting the military industrial complex to follow your little plan. I'll wait.
This is putting aside the fact that most of these wars weren't declared by Congress and are thus unconstitutional, which is reason enough to leave immediately.
