So that works out to about 74 expected deaths in that population per year from murder/homicide. If homicides occur equally across the months, by this point in the year we would expect 65 deaths but the year total based on the current trend will be 21. They are under-represented in homicides compared to the general population. That is good news and I hope it stays that way.

At the edit stage I realized that we are talking about only women. I am unable to find any actual stats on the breakdown of male-female but they don't really care about the biological distinction anyways. I found some studies suggesting that there are more women than men in the group, which would further under-represent them in murder compared to the general population.

Separately, on the SoylentNews Wiki, there is this Story Style [soylentnews.org] guideline which addresses a part of how editors approach a story. I call attention, specifically, to the section US/UK Spelling [soylentnews.org] where it notes that stories may be in either US English or UK English, but makes no allowance for story submissions in a language other than English. I can only recall a select few cases where we ran non-English-sourced stories. One pertaining to some radio frequencies being reclaimed in a Scandinavian country, and the other was early-reporting on diesel-gate citing a German source (Der Spiegel, IIRC). And, since I can read some German, I personally vetted the translation of the referenced source.
