Democrats won some races, republicans won others. The voters just aren't interested in seeking out decent people for the job. Nobody decent will volunteer to serve. We have to draft them.

Why do you hate America? Are you a foreigner? If not, you are free to make yourself one. You can go where your values are appreciated. Why give republicans the benefit of your presence? Think of the choices:
1. You can pick a place with 99% "brown people" or "people of color" for a more "diverse" experience.
2. You can pick real socialism, imaginary socialism, or complex socialism. You can pick communism. It works!
3. Since borders don't matter, you can pick any place you want. You can pick a place without bigoted Christians. Enjoy diverse locations like Saudi Arabia, North Korea, and Iran. All are Christian-free!
4. You can cast aside your Anglosphere privilege by moving to non-English location. For maximum linguistic diversity, pick a place like Papua New Guinea or Ghana.
5. You can enjoy life with the good people of El Salvador, Pakistan, or South Africa. They are not killers and rapists.
6. You can go to a place with strict gun control so that you'll be safe. There is only one gun store in the entire country of Mexico, and almost nobody is permitted to buy guns, so you won't have to worry about crime.
Once you are living in a place full of people who share your values, you'll get to finally live the way you've been fighting for.

I didn't vote for Trump and really do not plan to. But I am actually tempted to next time just based on how much the media spew hate about him. It makes it seem like maybe he is doing something right after all despite running as a republican.

I am and was no fan of Clinton; pulling that fucking lever made me feel dirty for a week, and some part of me knew Trump was going to win, because his time had come and the corporate wing of the Democrats was effectively Republican itself. He is the President the US zeitgeist deserves, because he is its reflection.
This country seems to need to suffer to learn anything. Were it up to me, the entire GOP and a good chunk of the Democrats would be imprisoned for life, preferably all in one giant cell block where they can see one another.
