Is SoylentNews IRC server dead? [It's not!]

Anyone had luck connecting to the IRC server? Seems to be dead for me. Btw anyone has idea if the favicon can be used for a soylentnews reader app or is copyrighted?

EDIT: hmm, I guess the IRC page from FAQ has old links, the link on the left (https://chat.soylentnews.org/) works fine, weird
EDIT2: no idea what was going on, but all links from about/faq page seem to point to the same chat.soylent.org link so must've been some weirdness on my end
