Arthur T Knackerbracket has found the following story:
Apple is removing all vaping apps from its online store.
It said it had taken the decision because of growing official concerns about the impact vaping can have on health.
In the US, 42 deaths and more than 2,100 cases of lung injury have been linked to a respiratory illness tied to vaping.
Apple's decision means a total of 181 apps will not be available on iPhones, reports tech news site Axios.
In a statement given to Axios, Apple said it agreed with official warnings about the negative health impacts of vaping and the potential problem presented by the appeal of e-cigarettes to the young.
It said it took "great care" to ensure that the app store was a place people could trust to get programs for their iPhone.

Some seem a bit silly, but there are some that calculate proportions for people wanting to mix their own. That is, given unflavored nicotine at 100mg/ml, a target nicotine level (expressed as mg/ml) and a desired % by volume of flavoring, how much nicotine, flavoring, and glycerin should be mixed to yield a desired amount of vape juice.

I've never seen nor heard of the "Make THC Vape juice look stronger than it actually is."
Here in Colorado it was used to dilute the thicker THC "juice" so that it would smoke correctly in a vape pen.
On a side note. The dispensaries here in Colorado quit using Vitamin E oil a couple of years ago as there was a strong consensus among smokers that the stuff was bad for you. For the most part it was as simple as the folks saying, "this stuff makes my lungs hurt, we don't want any additives."
Currently, if your vape products are cut with anything out here at all, its cut with Propylene Glycolol (PG). Propylene Glycol is currently being phased out. The processors have been able to refine their techniques over the year where they don't need to cut the THC "juice" anymore for it to smoke in a vape pen.

As I understand it, less legitimate suppliers (especially in states where THC is not legalized) wanted to add far more filler than was necessary to make the THC vape properly, but if they just used PG or VG, it was visually apparent that the THC was overly diluted.

There are, but they don't work on Apple products AFAIK.
I think it's very simple: if you own an Apple phone, then you simply have no right to complain about Apple banning apps from its store. That's *literally* one of the main reasons Apple supporters give for why they love their iPhones so much. If you don't like the way Apple curates its store, then why did you buy a phone from them? Stop complaining.
I've seen this discussion *so many times*:
Android proponent: You should get an Android phone instead of that iPhone. Google isn't so heavy-handed with their app store, and if you really want, you can side-load apps with other app stores.
iPhone user: But I *like* that Apple curates their app store! I don't have to worry about some dodgy app infecting my phone with malware or being a scam.
Android proponent: Well with Android you just have to be more careful...
iPhone user: ... but with Apple I don't have to be. Everything "just works", I can trust them, it works with my MacBook, they're not using my data for other purposes, ...
You can't have everything. If you've chosen Apple, you're explicitly chosen the safety of their walled garden, so you have no right to complain about the way they do gardening.

What we have here is a tiny group of executives enforcing their own personal stance on everyone who uses their hardware because they know their consumers have no alternative but to use the Apple store. At least with Android, while you still have a set of executives who also exert their control over the Google Store, there is still an alternative (F-Droid).
Whatever happened to simply putting a warning on a product so the consumer can make their own informed decision.
