Somehow the DNC is making Trump appear to be an outsider/underdog again even though he is the incumbent. This is unprecedented.

It almost seems like they want him reelected. Maybe it is a Republicrat ploy, or maybe they are just idiots.

They could be"data driven", ie just doing whatever their flawed polling and A/B testing tells them. Like when is the last time you heard any Latin from them? Whatever happened to that?

Trump finally won a popular vote!

Trump was impeached with more votes against him than any other president [businessinsider.com]

Also, somewhat misleading, as once you get to the bottom you'll note that Andrew Johnson was impeached with 66% of the votes being against him while Trump's sitting at 52% against him.

It almost seems like they want him reelected.

Yes, they do prefer him. This is how power sharing works, just like a wrestling tag team. They don't want any actual liberals to take over. And they sure don't want any "third party" to get any attention in mass media. The DNC/GOP will walk away with 95% of the vote again. Even the Putin doesn't get those kinds of numbers.

In a viral / fad driven "society", it's all about a mass (media) hysteria, that's dying out and people are starting to wake up with a hangover wondering what they were thinking the night before.

They are idiots, "data-driven" as the AC below you states. That party committed seppuku in the 70s by removing the populist engine that had driven it since the Southern Strategy, and it's a huge dinosaur so it took this long for the beast to die.
