I have a feeling at least the next several presidents will have attempts to impeach them when the opposing party takes the house. The impeachments will mean nothing even if they go through, essentially just a temper tantrum and virtue signal.

The republicans started it, impeachment for base political reasons. First with Johnson, then Clinton.
Not that I find it acceptable when the democrats try their clumsy hands at it.
