One way to expand sales is a lateral move into another product line.

Looks like Tim Hortons is doing this by making two breakfast cereals, chocolate glaze and birthday cake

Tim Hortons has partnered with cereal company Post Foods to create a breakfast food inspired by the coffee-and-doughnut chain's iconic Timbits. The company says stores across Canada will soon sell two versions of the cereal based on the tiny doughnuts that have been a staple on the chain's menu since 1976: one chocolate-glazed flavour, and one birthday cake flavour.

Rumours of the product launch first circulated on social media in the fall of 2019 when some social media accounts shared images of boxes of the product.

Sounds gross. No honey glaze, no chocolate, no jelly filled.

Just do it the way it was intended, eat real TimBits with coffee or milk. For bonus points, serve with a side of donuts or apple fritters if you are going hypoglycemic (always a good excuse).

Sugar content seems comparable to other sweetened cereals.

You might be able to incorporate the Timbits cereal into some kind of baked good.

It still sounds gross. Even Captain Crunch, Cranberry Frosted Flakes, and Count Chocula sound better.

      Captain Crunch because tradition ...

Cranberry Frosted Flakes because it tastes good once in a while.

Count Chocula when you need junk carbs and chocolate instead of lunch to face the rest of the day.

Any attempt is doomed to failure as all the timbits will be gone before the oven is preheated.

Back when Dunkin Donuts gave money-off coupons, I´d walk over and buy 2 boxes, then go to my sisters. They´d remark about how a donut was missing - and I´d point out that there was also an entire empty box in the garbage can outside.

I was SO skinny I could eat them all and it would never show. Just an extra shot of insulin for good luck.

Why are people so habitual to buy subpar quality stuff when they can make their own one which fits their condition and needs perfectly?
That's not just cereals, it happens with software too. Or clothing.

Not everyone wants to make their food all the time. Sometimes, it's just nice to grab a box from the grocery store. Personally, I was hoping you were linking to something that showed how to easily make home made frosted flakes or some other kind of flake cereal. Granola is easy enough, pretty much anyone can make their own once they've seen it.

First, for those who say this joke is misogynistic, it applies equally to men ... so no need for a trigger warning, snowflakes ...

how to easily make home made frosted flakes

Frosted flake in two easy steps:

        1. Get dumb blonde with wet hair to look at the frozen orange juice the fridge
        2. (concentrate)

Maybe some of us don´t want to make our own clothing. Just how am I supposed to thread a needle when Iḿ half blind? And sometimes when I´m having a crappy day I want some crappy junk food. It makes me feel better, and it works immediately, within seconds.
