Tens of thousands of armed citizens came to protest in VA, said what they had to say, and harmed nobody at all. Then they left. But not before cleaning up after themselves. Talk about pissing the ones trying to sell the progtard narrative off. I did laugh.

If someone points a loaded gun at my head and wants to discuss issues with me, even if they neither fire the gun nor vocalize an intent to do so, that is not a peaceful conversation.
Despite the fact that nobody was physically harmed, this should not be considered a peaceful protest. Rather, it was a demonstration with the purpose of influencing Virginia's government at the point of a gun or, more accurately, a vast number of guns.
The NRA vehemently opposes gun control. Yet even the NRA was so troubled by the rally that they distanced themselves from the event [richmond.com] and instead promoted a separate gathering outside the Virginia Capitol. When your opposition to gun control is so extreme that even the NRA disassociates itself, you need to reconsider what you're doing.
The majority of Americans do support expanding gun control [npr.org], and that majority is expanding. Instead of the far right accepting that most Americans don't agree with their views and deciding their views need to evolve, they've instead opted to try to force their views on the majority of Americans at gunpoint.
Your position is so extreme to the right that even the NRA felt the need to distance itself. Let that sink in.
