    Try Black IcIcle, Grayscale, Night Mode, or one of the VTXXX themes. All of the above are easier on my eyes than the default. Just stay away from Vomit.

    One of the VTXXX themes was what I thought I was looking for (kind of miss both my hercules and amber monitors, because they were both easy on the eyes even when I didn't have vision problems), but somehow one of them, a bunch of links disappeared. No big deal, it's probably just me, but some of that old tech really was handy.
