China Develops High Capacity QLC 3D NAND: YMTC at 1.33 Tb

Yangtze Memory Technologies Co. (YMTC) has announced that it's developed its new 128-layer 1.33 Tb QLC 3D NAND memory chip, the X2-6070. The new chip is based on its Xtacking architecture which enables it to run with super high I/O while maximising the density of its memory arrays. YMTC has also unveiled its plan for a 128-layer 512 Gb TLC chip, the X2-9060, designed to meet more diverse application requirements.

[...] The QLC based X2-6070 has 128-layers and more than 366 billion effective charge-trap memory cells. Each memory cell has 4-bit of data, which equates to 1.33 Tb of storage capacity. Everything is proportionate to cost, and it seems like YMTC, which is newer than most to 3D NAND stacking, could again improve its Xtacking architecture in the future.

Xtacking is not a typo.

    1) Slashdot got rid of you when they finally decided it was time. They greatly restricted AC posting to logged-in users with karma above a certain level. You haven't been back.

    2) SoylentNews has two owners, not one. Obviously you know very little about this site.

    3) You're now making empty threats of criminal activity against this site like DDoS attacks. Turning to criminal activity against a site because you're mad at one user is petulant and stupid. It's pathetic that your threats are empty.

    4) If you actually attacked SoylentNews, which you're not man enough to do, it would actually benefit this site. Users would likely increase their subscriptions to help cover the costs for this site to respond to your lameness.

    5) The sad thing is you actually think you have a sterling reputation. Instead, you're utterly despised across many sites including Slashdot and SoylentNews. You have a truly awful reputation and continuing to post these comments only makes you look worse. People who may not have heard of you will see these comments and immediately know what a loser you are.

    6) And for anyone who doesn't know who APK is, it's Alexander Peter Kowalski, a resident of Syracuse, NY. I won't post his address, but it's not hard to find. He's an incredibly immature individual in his mid-50s who hasn't had a job in a decade and lives in a house he purchased from his father for $1. And yes, the records at the assessor's office confirm that Jan Kowalski (APK's father) sold the property to Alexander (APK) for $1. This matters because APK is quick to try to tear down others' accomplishments. In reality, APK hasn't accomplished very much himself and is best known for promoting poorly-received shareware and freeware products.
