More interesting science from PsyPost,

New research has found that people with "dark" personality characteristics, such as psychopathy and narcissism, are less likely to comply with efforts to impede the spread of the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 and more likely to stockpile goods such as food and toilet paper.

Two new studies, both published in the journal Personality and Individual Differences, reinforce previous findings that the "Dark Triad" of narcissism, psychopathy, and Machiavellianism is associated with ignoring preventative COVID-19 measures.

But the new research indicates that health beliefs and situational perceptions may play a more important role than personality traits alone.

Dark Enlightenment, or Dark Triads?

And what makes you such an expert on statistics?

I understand that your ass is ignoring all the folks who would have tested positive if they were sick enough (or at all) to go to a hospital and get tested. I also understand that you're okay with counting motorcycle crashes and meth lab explosions as covid deaths if the corpses test positive. That makes the numbers absolute garbage statistically because you're only running the poll across a self-selecting group.

I recently had occasion to visit a clinic and they offered a covid test if I wanted. I said "hell no". There's no way I'm going to volunteer to be more of a political football than I am already. Unless I am extremely sick, I'm not going to sign up to be a statistic or go on official quarantine.
AFAIK, the recent increase in cases (around the country) is due to employees in certain industries being sent to mass testing. How many of them were truly ill?
