Economists warn of 'widespread costs' from lockdown:

Blanket restrictions on economic activity should be lifted and replaced with measures targeted specifically at groups most at risk, say economists.

[...] They argue that while the extent to which the lockdown contributed to a subsequent slowing in the rate of new infections and deaths is not easy to estimate precisely, it seems clear that it did contribute to these public health objectives.

However, they say it is "very far from clear" whether keeping such tight restrictions in place for three months until the end of June when they began to be lifted was warranted, given the large costs. They say that the costs of carrying on with such a lockdown are likely to have become significantly greater than its benefits.

Debate over the global dilemma continues.

Blind belief in authority vs scientific method
civiilians vs bio and nano weapons
society based on shared mythology and principles vs oligarchic dictatorship
    trust vs obedience
    investigation vs assumption
herd mentality vs free speech and thought

You cannot define the dilemma even amidst this propaganda, the dilemma may be 5th generation warfare itself.

Last year I spent every saturday morning writing about words that I thought were being misused, that the english language was dying through propaganda and this was no accident. When I was done, it was over 70k words. Around 600 definitions like a concordance, a discussion of words, and with "see also" other related words.

I did not plan it this way, but when I was finished I was able to draw mind maps of the words between each other, and there were two completely separate categories, where none of the words of one side linked to the other.

There is a clear dialectic here, Quality vs Antihumanism.

Quality is what ever human wants. A quality car. A quality house. A quality sandiwich. A quality life. A quality death.

Antihumanism is the stuff everybody, or most people, cant stand. Propaganda. Poison. Tyranny. Slavery, Pointless, painful, Death.

cv, 5g, race war, china war, "event 201", is antihuman, it attacks everything humans depend on to exist and thrive. Our entire social nature out the window, "shelter in place" like rats in cages. Uncertainty in myth and fact, the end of trust. Dependence on "experts" who change what they say from month to month, or computer scientists speaking about medicine. Cults, rockefellers, while abusers of human children walk free or get slaps on the wrist.

Sure we all die if the grocery store shelves dont get replenished, if the trucks cant deliver, if the gas tanks cant be filled.

What professort John McMurtry calls it is an "assault from every angle on the human life ground", and much of what we consider "the ecoonomy" is just that, making humans do things they do not want to do under miserable conditions, and then this is life. Like we are all in the wicker man and consider ourselves to be the wicker man, like it cares for us, like it listens to our wishes, like it cares about us, "feels our pain"

When it was built for the sole purpose of being burned down, like the tower of babel.

What I consider the economy, as an almost homeless person struggling to be a writer and musician or just have a job, and what Bill Gates considers the economy are not the same thing. We do not share a mythic story, belief structure, religion, factual basis. I do not relate to him and his needs, I cannot even fathom them, I can just tell he is lying by the shit eating condescending smirk on his face, and that his lifes work in an operating system is from thousands of experiences over decades, complete shit.

So who are you asking the question to, me? Are we keeping the economy going to save lives or save money?

I will never know, but to me it looks like power and control, that our life options have all been limited,. and our access to the information we need to thrive, or survive, has been woefully throttled intentionally.

When asked "what should we do"? What would you do if you were president? I would just reiterate what I have been saying since I graduated from the university after 9/11.

If we are relying on propaganda to survive, we will not.

Dupe, JMH? Are you trolling for a legit spam mod? It is possible, except for those of us already mod-banned.

You're not mod banned. I mean I can manually give you a free weekend of being so if you just really want to be and ask nicely but if you want more than that you're just going to have to abuse the Spam mod like everyone else.

I like how the TMB knows I am not mod-banned, since I am AC. We are mighty, hear us Roar! But evidently not so anonymous as we are lead to believe? In any case, some poor smuck has gone an spam-modded both of JMH's manifestos, which is excessive, if not entirely undeserved. I trust the ubiquitous TMB will reverse these, and appropriately punish the responsible party? Cannot be me, since we ACs do not have mod privileges, so really, we are mod-banned to begin with. Again, fellow ACs, the all seeing eye of Sauron The Mightby Buszard sees who you really are. And people wonder why I do not take system admin's professions of ethics seriously.

You don't need to be an admin to tell your logged in postings from your AC postings. One of the perils of having a distinctive style of prose is that your style of prose is distinctive.

The ubiquitous TMB is the one who performed those moderations. Repeating the same thing multiple times, especially attached to the same story, is very much within the qualifications of Spam.

SN records a hash of your IP which remains the same. With a little work TMB can determine your actual IP. They like to obfuscate that fact, but they do admit the reality so it isn't super shady. Admins and editors get to see that IP hash so they can tell which AC posts come from same users. Gotta use a VPN or TOR if you want to evade TMB's abusive behavior. At least the other admins and editors keep him in line for the most part, but son't fall for their idealism in the about page.
