Kyrgyzstan election: Protesters storm parliament over vote-rigging claims

Protestors in Kyrgyzstan calling for the country's parliamentary election to be annulled have broken into parliament in the capital, Bishkek.

Footage showed people throwing papers from the building's windows, while others were seen entering the office of President Sooronbai Jeenbekov.

The break-in follows a day of clashes with police, who initially dispersed crowds with water cannon and tear gas.

The clashes come amid allegations of vote-rigging in last Sunday's election.

Following the vote, only four parties out of 16 passed the 7% threshold for entry into parliament, three of which have close ties to President Jeenbekov.

Trump refuses to say he will accept the election in any terms. Here is hoping we citizens don't have to physically drag him out like this. Maybe the SS will be happy to oblige since he cares so little for their own safety.

You're assuming the Secret Service are in agreement about the benefits or otherwise of Trump continuing in office.

It may well be that various parts of your vast Secret Police networks (and military) are not terribly happy with continuing to let ordinary people having a say in the makeup of the Government and will ignore the will of the people if it doesn't give the right outcome.

My personal view is that the people who control the pursestrings won't let it come to that, because scaring the horses like that is bad for business, and if you're busy fighting another Civil War, the sharemarket might slip a bit.

Well Trump is desparate and not known for logical thinking so everything is on the table right now.
