Ahhhh, but you don't have a liberally biased Supreme Court to help sneak shit through that the voters outright reject.
Don't ever forget Proposition 8 in California. There is a LOT to be learned from Prop 8. The funniest lesson is, your Dems didn't understand the Latino demographic and the STILL DON'T!

Some things shouldn't be up for a vote at all, like individual rights. Being able to marry any consenting adult that you want is not up for debate, and nor should it ever be.

I have nothing but contempt for voters who would try to take away basic human rights from anyone, just because they have a majority. We need to extirpate bigoted religions, and make it illegal for them to oppress those they disagree with. Free speech, and freedom of choice are absolute. Anyone who holds otherwise needs to be liquidated.

"Don't be the generic idiot."
Don't be Runaway? Cause you are the shining example of Republican douchery here on SN. No one was taking away any rights?
"Sec. 7.5. Only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California."
So under the law same sex couples can not be afforded the same legal rights? Oh right, "don't be the generic idiot." Well I'm not, but you seem to have a continuing hardship with the english language.
So I assume if the popular opinion ever swings the other way you'll shut up always and forever about this, since it will then be majority decision? ...and that you want the electoral college abolished? :D Please, what you mean is "Whaaaaa, whaaaaa, people are holding MY views in contempt!" That was what one judge decided, yes, and you agree with him.
