because "Doing your own research" is far easier nowadays than building the habit of thinking critically.
Add COVID-anxiety, a chaotic narcissistic Orange clown and compound with the lack of survival problems to solve for the everyday life in a westernized society and (where appropriate) a good dose of American exceptionalism.

    I'll just pay some dude with a gun to protect/teach me how to use the gun if it comes to that.

    We can avoid that disaster if we can all just agree that there is a shared objective reality and science is the closest approximation we have to describe that reality.

    So......yeah.....my Krav Maga school offers gun classes and I get a $50 credit if I get a friend to sign up. You in the Denver area?
