That Antifa guy the facial recognition supposedly caught false-flagging the Capitol yesterday turns out to be a well known QAnon douche from AZ.

Longtime Arizona QAnon supporter in horned helmet joins storming of U.S. Capitol

Among the supporters of President Donald Trump who mobbed their way into the U.S. Capitol on Tuesday, one – unmistakable in his fur, horned hat and painted face – was Jake Angeli, a QAnon supporter who has been a fixture at Arizona right-wing political rallies over the past year.

Angeli was seen in photographs from Washington, D.C., amid protesters who turned violent and stormed the building, causing both chambers to suspend their intended action of the day: certifying the results of the presidential election for former vice president Joe Biden.

This dopey photo is making the rounds as if it offers some kind of proof.

The three people in that photo:
    - Jake Angeli, the QAnon douche from AZ
    - Jason Tankersley, founder of the Maryland Skinheads
    - Matthew Heimbach, National Socialist Movement

The genesis for the assertion appears to be an article published by the right-wing Washington Times that claimed that a “retired military officer” had provided information from a firm called XRVision that used facial recognition software to identify several people who invaded the Capitol — and that two of them were linked to antifa. A third was “someone who shows up at climate and Black Lives Matter protests in the West.”

“XRVision didn’t generate any composites or detection imagery for the Washington Times nor for a ‘retired military officer, and did not authorize them to make any such representations.” - XRVision executive Yaacov Apelbaum [washingtonpost.com]

What happened, Apelbaum explained, was that the firm “performed an analysis on the footage” and, in doing so, was able to identify three people.

“We concluded that two of individuals … were affiliated with the Maryland Skinheads and the National Socialist Movements,” the firm determined. “These two are known Nazi organizations, they are not Antifa. The third individual identified … was an actor with some QAnon promotion history. Again, no Antifa identification was made for him either.”

Antifa is just an idea that doesn't exist. So of course you can't identify antifa using facial recognition.

Antifa could be just about anybody.

There's really only one way someone could fail at making a claim of being an Antifa member: that person being a known white supremacist!

It's pretty impressive that they care so little about the truth they don't even bother to find a photo that doesn't have a bunch of well know racists in it!

I don't think your claim is true. In various photos, you will find a lot of BLM mixed in with Antifa. The membership doesn't seem to be exclusive - a person can be both. While it is true that MOST Antifa seem to be privileged white kids, not all are.

I don't believe very many black people are members of Antifa, but it does seem that some are. It's much more likely that black people are members of BLM.

Sorry, no, there is no database that I know of. I'm just going by photographs, video, and comments I've seen over the past year or two.

What are you saying here Runaway? Sounds like you are calling black people BLM and white people Antifa. Since Antifa is just a concept like Anonymous you can't tell who would be a "member" from a picture.

I think we're seeing peak boomer here.

Sounds like you are calling black people BLM and white people Antifa.

That is the general rule. Not a law, just a rule. If you see a crowd of 300 black people, they are probably BLM. When you see a crowd of 500 white people with a couple "token" blacks mixed in, they are Antifa.

And if you see a crowd of white people breaking the windows out of the Capitol Building, wearing red caps and yellow toques, carrying Trump flags, and Confederate battle flags, then they are probably Antifa, right? Or maybe Fascists, Neo-confederate racists, and Prouf Boys.

No, you have not seen any white antifas, since antifas do not exist. What you saw were your neighbors, fellow citizens! And, yes, they are all anti-fascist, like their grandparents in the last great war! So, punch a Nazi in the face, like Buggs Bunny, or Captain America would do! As a Moonie newspaper would tend to do, since their Divine Avatar of Everything Divine, the Divine Rev. Sung Young Moonie, died from a venereal disease. The whole thing was kind of like the Rev. Jerry Falwell Jr. cuck episode. Or the rejection of Billy Graham, when he got to the Golden Gates, and they told him, "We don't want your kind here". Poor bastard is still trying to figure out what "kind" that was, since he weren't no n******. Ok, Point being, Washington Times is only a source for Soylentils like Runaway, who is a Soylentil of very little brain. So of course what they published was wrong, false, mendacious, and an outright lie. If only Senior Moon could see what his spawn has done!
