When all the votes are counted this year, Americans should have far more confidence their votes were tallied correctly than in 2016.

After that contest was upended by Russian interference, states vastly increased the number of votes that are cast with paper records that can be audited later. More than 90 percent of votes will have a paper record this year compared with about 80 percent in 2016.

States have also significantly improved how often and how scrupulously they perform post-election audits.

The changes have been especially significant in some of the states ... contested by Trump.

Georgia and Pennsylvania have both shifted from having paper records for few or none of their voters in 2016 to having paper records for all votes cast in their states — a protection security experts say is a bare minimum to ensure votes weren’t altered by hackers or miscounted because of a technology failure.

The Cybersecurity 202: More states now have paper trails to verify votes were correctly counted

It's real. You can see the whole [youtu.be] video here. The link I provided skips to the time of the "gaffe". I don't really know what exactly he meant to say, because in context it really looks much worse, in my opinion:

But one of the things that I think is most important is those who haven’t voted yet, first of all, go to IWillVote.com to make a plan exactly how you’re gonna vote, where you’re gonna vote, when you’re gonna vote, because it can get complicated. Because the republicans doing everything they can to make it harder for people to vote particularly people of color to vote. So go to IWillVote.com.

Secondly, we’re in a situation where we have put together - and you guys did it for our, the president Obama’s administration, before this - we have put together, I think, the most extensive and and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics. What the president is trying to do is discourage people from voting by implying their vote won’t be counted, it can’t be counted, we’re gonna challenge it, and all these things. If enough people vote, it’s gonna overwhelm the system.

He then later goes on to state:

Go to particularly if you have, you know, grandparents or older folks in your neighborhood who you know. And they have a, they have an absentee ballot. Show them it matters how they fill it out. It’s complicated, some of it. They haven’t made it easier. For people. In many states. And by the way, why we challenged it may not hold up in Pennsylvania, if the Supreme Court were to change it, but now they’ve allowed the county, if it’s postmarked, it can be counted for all the way for next several days, which it should be.

Go to IWillVote.com . There are exactly two buttons: "Check if I'm registered to vote" and "Register to Vote". Generally the information you need for either is easy to obtain even for people who are not who they claim they are: name/date of birth/address. This is why signature matching, at the minimum, was absolutely critical to ensure election integrity. And in places like Georgia, they accepted these [youtu.be] signatures as matching. That's footage from a Senatorial hearing on irregularities in Georgia. And, by the way, that is evidence of fraud. The man who's "signature" that showed is a lawyer and sued the state, because that ballot clearly should not have been accepted. But it was. Incidentally, he's now also been banned from social media, because reasons.

Anybody who believes this was the "most secure election ever", would have just loved правда. And that's the truth.
