Thankfully, the brainwashing is not entirely complete and a lot of people are seeing it for what it was.

    I don't recall calling anything a socialist plot. But I'll note here that "every solution that would help the average American" usually fails hard at helping the average anyone it gets applied to, American or not. My suspicion is that if we actually paid attention to whether these schemes, socialist or not, actually worked, we'd just drop most of them and never speak of them again.
