Not, again, a philosophical journal entry, though, I have been thinking about the possibility of one on the notion of causation. Instead, I am here to make a plea for our lesser Soylentils. We have several members of our lusty band of freebooters who are much put under by recent American politics. One might say that the ground has moved under them, that the gyre has turned their world skew ways. I am here to suggest that we all be gentle with them, for a while. Yes, it is tempting to kick them when they are down, to rub the mendacity of their god-emperor in their faces, and mock them for their stupidity and gullibility, and all such is well deserved. But, as hard as it may be, try to put yourself in their position. Yes, I know, nearly impossible, since almost no one could be that stupid, but I am asking you to try.
First off, our dear TMB has been posting journal entries non-stop, attempting to regain his remembered fantastical past of winning what he considered "debates" on-line. We should not just yet disturb this illusion, as it is a coping device, and may well allow the Mighty Buzzard to return to sanity. Indulge him, and me, for the time being. Yes, what he says is not true, and he has no verifiable evidence for any of it, but, for now, let him be. The Truth will out.
Runaway has not so much gone off the deep end, as remained in it, which is strange since that is usually called the shallow end of the gene pool. Guns, all about guns. And abortion. And, leather jackets, rolling coal, not recycling, anything to "stick it to the libs". The best thing we can do right now, for our dear Runaway1956, is to pretend to be outraged by what he says. The worst thing that could happen to him is to be mocked, ridiculed, and ignored. So help out a fellow Soylentil! Take umbrage at Runaway's journals! Call him names and hate him muchly! That will make him feel better, while the reality of having lost the soul of America sinks in. Be gentle with him.
VLM, khallow, and hemocyanin, not much we can do for them. Fluids, vitamins, downmods, and wait for the end. And Ethanol_Fueled has already been taken out by a Jewish Space Laser, or so I hear from the super intelligent and in-the-know Marjorie Taylor Greene. So long, Eth, was not that great to know you, but you will be missed.
And for all the "Conservative" ACs: look, dudes (and dudettes, though I feel those are few and far between), it is time to decide whether your cos-play hobby is starting to cost you more than the bennies it provides. Family ostracizing you? Check. Lost your job after being outed as a Capitol Rioter? Check. No dates with normal women? Check. Might be time to rethink that whole "3% violent revolution" thing. We are here for you, as you wind down, and come back to reality. First thing, you know, dark matter may not be what you think it is. Just saying. We're pulling for you! And, not like that.

Simply pointing out that the "liberals" are a leech stuck upon the back of the Democrat party in much the same way that the nazi's are a leech stuck upon the back of the Republican party.
The Republicans would like to pull that leech off and burn it. But it keeps returning and reattaching itself despite their efforts.
Presumably the Democrats would also like to rip off their leech and be rid of it as well, but it too keeps returning from the dead.
Both sides have a leech attached they'd like to be rid of, and a small number of members on both sides paint the whole other side with the brush color of the leech.

"Liberals" are hardly a leech on the democrats, on the contrary, don't you see the money they bring in? Sure, the neo-nazis send a remittance to the GOP, but nothing like the libs do for the dems. But your are right about the libs riding democrat celebrity coattails. That's why they really do cling. They aren't liberals. Liberalism is voiceless in American politics.

Oh, you mean TMB liberals? More on the (Ayn) Rand Paul end of the speculum? Libertarians? Voiceless liberalism? Do you mean the Silent Majority? Which one? Nixon's, or Trump's? You argue in bad faith, AC, very bad faith.

No, I mean the pot smoking hippies and the original Black Panthers that believe in equal protection under the law and that all people are entitled to the benefits of our prosperity, health care, food, shelter, etc, in addition to minimal government meddling in our personal lives, and of course, we have to end prohibition and make our prison system humane.
