Raspberry Pi 2/3 support will be added in LibreELEC 10.2, and support for Raspberry Pi 0/1 will be dropped.

    Why would this be? Just because it is single threaded?

    There are work-arounds that allow multiple threads to be active at the same time (they just have to be spun up as separate processes, kicking that handling out to the OS). The only thing that you can't do is have multiple threads simultaneously access the same data in memory, which doesn't really seem like something you'd need that much in a media platform.

    Not sure if they went through the work I described above just so your ears can be assaulted by the sound of multiple videos playing at once, but they could have.
