    I know I will be called a racist for highlighting this comment, but the content of the comment is not wrong though perhaps uncomfortable.

    What was the content of that post? First it's in reply to:

    Sorry, I'm not buying the rightness of the content. Even with your link, hemocyanin (which wasn't in the original post), we only have the bald fact that there's a lot of black on Asian attacks. We don't have the rest of the claim, that DeathMonkey's "crowd" is trying to use one particular bout of attacks to "excuse" that. Sorry, this is just more of the sloppy accusations we see on the internets.

    For what it's worth, I think the problem is visibility. An apparently white person who happens to be the serial killer in DeathMonkey's journal naturally gets far more media attention than nebulous black on Asian violence. I don't think anyone was trying to "excuse" anything. They just don't see it.

    Also how many black serial killers are in that black on Asian violence? Might be a few, might not but we're comparing very different sorts of violence.

    The link is full of shit. Sure, in Oakland, a predominantly black area, you’ll have more blacks attacking asians, but it’s whites doing it everywhere where the population is predominantly white. You’ve been trolled. Just look at Europe and Canada as examples.

    Fair enough. I simply felt the comment was sufficiently topical on the way crimes are asymmetrically reported in the media. Omission and over-inclusion are two powerful propaganda tools.
